Job Title: Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Description: Commercial Litigation Solicitor: Mercantile Barristers is a new type of Commercial Barristers’ Chambers based in the heart of Legal London at Gray’s Inn.

Our members have established specialist practices in commercial litigation, company, construction, property, estates and sports law. We provide full circle legal services on both contentious and non-contentious matters to businesses, professionals and high net worth individuals.

To assist with our increasing case load and structured expansion we now require a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join our team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Chambers, the successful candidate will be specifically responsible for working in conjunction with a Barrister to maintain full litigation case management from pre-action conduct through to trial and appeal where necessary in compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules.

This role would suit an enthusiastic litigator with ability to work in a team with Counsel. Chambers is also developing a small Private Client and Family Law team and welcomes applications from candidates who are proficient in these areas of practice.

Candidates must not be set in their ways and should be IT literate with great written and oral communication skills with no less than 3 years PQE. They should also have a smart professional appearance, friendly manner, be very flexible, innovative and forward thinking. We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience
