Job Title: Comms Infrastructure Architect X2
Location:West London
Rate:£50K to £60K Per Year    Benefits: 7K Car All, 8% Bonus
Description: Comms Infrastructure Architect, West London, 50-60K + 8% Bonus, 7K Car Allowance + Bens. Degree educated with a 2.1 or higher, you will have a background as a Comms Infrastructure Architect.

Experience required:

• A background in a similar position
• Experience in the team portfolio
• Proven experience in the allocated portfolio building blocks (certification is a plus)
• Proven experience in infrastructure solution implementation
• Experience in scripting
• Vendor certification in focus topic
• Proven experience in analysis and design of infrastructure solutions
• Proven experience in fundamental infrastructure and hardware security standards
• Proven experience in relevant process standards (e.g. ITIL)
• Proven experience in assessment of implementation efforts and economic efficiency

Technical skills:

• Profound knowledge on architecting, designing and implementation of infrastructures
• Profound knowledge on analysis, management, and monitoring of infrastructures
• Experience in troubleshooting of complex issues
• Knowledge on cabling, technical rooms, DC and public/private Cloud requirements
• Profound knowledge on Telco carrier technologies ( unmanaged lines, MPLS, toll-free numbers, DDI, POTS, PRI) and how to deploy global dial plans and global IP networks
• Profound knowledge on LAN, WLAN, WAN technologies and protocols (unmanaged lines, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS …). Will be valued:
o Experience in QoS and WAN acceleration implementations
o Experience in SD network implementations ( LAN, WAN, and DC)
o Knowledge in virtualization and NSX concepts
o Knowledge in API development ( REST, JSON / XML, PYTHON )

• Profound knowledge on IP telephony, VOIP systems and Unify communications (messaging, presence, telepresence, conferencing and voice) as well as traditional PBX.
• Expertise in analysis and design of Call Centre solutions:
o Agents & Supervisors functions
o ACD & call flows
o CTI & JTAPI integrations
• Knowledge in scripting of Call Centre solutions
• Expertise in design and implementing IT-security and data protection concepts (Firewalling, Load balancing, VPN, Encryption, Authentication)
• Knowledge in collaboration solutions ( Lync, WebEx, Office 365 …)
• Experience in complex, difficult and international projects
• Multivendor experience preferred

Main Responsibilities:

• Define corporate-wide standards and adapt global standards of assigned areas of the team portfolio in coordination with the solution architect and the lead of the respective domain
• Identify and realize innovation potentials within business processes using IT-infrastructure in coordination with the business departments
• Manage external providers technically in designing and implementing solution architectures and concepts
• Design and implement solution architectures and concepts in the context of projects
• Plan development of platforms and infrastructure
• Lead projects of delimited IT-solutions with impact on few departments and less than 15 man-days effort
• Consult and support other divisions within solutions delivery in application integration and development
• Implement projects in close collaboration with other stakeholders (strategic business solutions, solution delivery, service delivery, business departments)
• Create necessary project documentation and transfer operation manuals
• Provide 3rd level support within the organizational unit

This Comms Infrastructure Architect role can be based in West London, Germany or Spain and pays c50-60K base, 8% bonus, 7K Car Allowance, pension, healthcare etc. Some European travel is required.
