Job Title: Business Analyst O365
Location:London
Rate:£450 Per Day
Description: Business Analyst (O365, implemantation, migration, MS office, risk, process maps) 3 month contract - 450pd

My client is currently looking for a experienced Business Analyst to work on O365 implementations or migrations. This is a contract role initially for 3 months but has the view to extend.

As a business they are implementing O365 and they want to know what areas they should be utilising. They also want to make sure that they aren’t using other systems and products in the business that they could be using O365 for. This means it is essential to have solid experience around O365.

Business Analyst Knowledge and Expertise
• A minimum of three years’ experience of working as a Business Analyst on projects delivering significant business and technology change, ideally following multiple project disciplines
• Experience in delivering MS Office 365, including it’s peripheral, supporting and complimentary applications, able to articulate the art of the possible
• Ideally some experience in delivering technology infrastructure projects
• Strong business analysis and process re-engineering knowledge, covering operational, data management and customer interaction requirements.
• Experience of creating detailed process maps using MS Visio or similar.
• Proven ability to conduct workshops and chair meetings with effective stakeholder management.
• Experience in Issue and Risk management.
• Effective stakeholder management to ensure that project awareness and support is maintained.
• Exposure to and awareness of financial services.
• Must have an ability to challenge constructively and effectively, rising above the detail in order to produce new and/or re-designed processes that result in increased efficiency.
• Ability to translate and communicate complex technical concepts into business speak (and vice versa)
• Proactive, high levels of initiative and the confidence to act.
• Proven track record in identifying and articulating change benefits

Business Analyst Role Responsibilities

• Document and agree project documentation ranging from Impact Analyses and Business Requirements through to Solution Designs, working with business stakeholders and key colleagues to ensure their completion.
• Ensure all uncertainty or lack of clarity is removed from the documented detailed Business Requirements whilst at all times demonstrating the skills, knowledge and experience of all aspects of requirements gathering and alignment (e.g. traceability matrices) best practice.
• Drive document approval/sign-off through effective communication and scheduling with reviewers and stakeholders ensuring thorough and complete review and delivery to agreed timescales.
• Ensure traceability of business requirements through design, build and test phases of a project to ensure that requirements have been met.
• Support the production of project artefacts such as the Business Case.
• Support testing cycles.
• Create detailed process maps.
• Support the production of procedure documents.
• Support the production of training materials.
• Stand in/act as the Project/Programme Manager as required.
