Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Construction/Refurb/

Rate:£38K to £42K Per Year

The Role
We are looking for talented Project Assistants to assist with large scale and complex A&E refurbishment projects. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the Project Managers are supported to help deliver projects within the Prince2 framework, standards and principles ensuring qualitative delivery to time, within local budgets and other tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

- Matrix management of a diverse group of people which may include Clinicians, Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Solution Architects and 3rd party suppliers.
- Be accountable to the Programme Manager for the delivery of the required products to the correct
quality standards within the agreed constraints of time and cost.
- Support the design, testing and implementation of solutions for delivery.
- Assist in the derivation of project costs, products and quality standards for business case

development.
- Help out in the construction business change aspects of system implementation.
- Engage clinicians, managers and other staff to review and define improvements to service
- Implement effective change management.

Key Requirements

- Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent Project Management qualification
- Experience of financial/cost management and tracking against set budgets
- Direct line management and staff development experience
- Advanced MS Office, MS Project and Visio skills
- Experience of refurbs and construction projects taking into account both exterior and interior. Including; Power, lighting and the backlog maintenance.
