Overview

An Oracle Developer is needed for a leading business in Sheffield. This is a well established organisation with a long history of success in a traditional industry.
You will be working with a forward thinking company that has a big push and investment in new technologies and solutions.

In the next 3-5 years this business is looking to completely migrate over to APEX. As a result, upon joining the business you will be given the opportunity to up skill to APEX5. The rest of the team has already completed this training.

The Role

As an Oracle Developer you will be working in a team of experienced Database professionals providing support and development to the organisations internal systems. The role involves administering the existing systems and managing new projects form the initial design to implementation.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Hands-on support and development experience with Oracle Forms and Reports
- Strong experience supporting Oracle database technologies up to 11g
- Experience developing, managing and testing backup and recovery plans
- An ability to communicate with the wider business including management and users
