Job Title: Engineering Stock Administrator
Location:Bridlington, E Riding of Yorks
Rate:£16K.0000 to £20K. Per Year
Description: Our client, a hugely successful multisite food processor, seek an Engineering Stock Administrator to join their team at their site near Bridlington.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Engineering Stock Administrator will be responsible for providing the necessary support for the existing Engineering team.

Summary of Purpose and Objectives

Supporting the Maintenance Manager in the ordering and control of maintenance parts and services and assisting in the successful completion of the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme. Managing the stocks of all indirect materials on the site to ensure a continuous supply to production with minimal obsolescence.

Job Responsibilities

To assist the Maintenance Manager and Management Accountant in the purchasing and control of all stocked items and contribute to the continuous improvement of relevant processes, procedures and controls at Dawn Carnaby.

Main Duties

* Liaise with suppliers to obtain timely and accurate quotations for parts and services
* Raise purchase requisitions for parts and services and liaise with the finance function to ensure costs are correctly accounted for
* Assist in the implementation and operation of the RGC stock control system
* Produce key performance indicators (KPIs) in relation to PPM as required by the business
* Report daily utilities usage and assist the business in meeting reduction targets
* Assist the Maintenance Manager and the Management Accountant in the annual budget process
* Fully utilise IT systems to automate reports and simplify processes wherever possible
* Ad-hoc duties as required by site and Group management

Key Requirements

* A minimum of two years previous experience within a similar role is desirable; experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
* Strong IT skills would be highly beneficial. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required and previous experience of stock control systems would be advantageous.
* A current forklift truck licence will be required for the role however training will be provided if necessary.
* This role will interact with other areas of the organisation and therefore the ability to build strong working relationships with different personalities is essential.
* The desire to take on new challenges, put forward new ideas and take on responsibility is key to the success of this role.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, however you must be flexible with regard to working hours as required by the business. Salary commensurate with skills and experience.
