This is a truly exciting time for Gibbs Hybrid – we have teamed up with our tier one partner and we are currently looking to hire experienced Unix / Linux Engineers who have a Consultancy / Professional Services background who are looking to develop their experience further and become an expert in a chosen specialism (Splunk). This is a fantastic opportunity to come on board within a permanent capacity to join our rapidly growing ECM (Employee Consultancy Model) within the Big Data practise team. This role will sit within our programme technology solutions pillar.

Skills / Experience we are looking for:
Unix – Highly experienced in both Unix and Linux (Unix administration environments)
Shell Scripting – (Shell, Bash or Powershell) You must have extensive experience of one or more
Big Data and Analytics
Must have a Consultancy background – Technology Consultancy / Professional Services / Systems Integrator, vendor client services or Client Account Management.
Ability to pick up new skills / technologies quickly and become an expert in your field.
Extensive experience in any of the following:
IT Security
Application Data
This role will require you to travel to client sites – so ability to do so is essential.

The role:
For the first 10 weeks, we will provide you with full support and training towards gaining an industry recognised Splunk certification. Once this certification is complete, you will work within our ECM Model and work with our clients and technology partners - some of the world’s leading largest blue chip companies and technology leaders.
