Gibbs Hybrid are seeking several passionate and highly experienced UNIX/Linux Engineers that have a consultative/professional services background. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join our rapidly growing and renowned ECM (Employee Consultancy Model) Big Data Practice team within our Programme Technology Pillar. Not only will you be working for an employee focused organisation you will also gain further skills in new technologies such as Splunk that will enable you take your career to the next stage.

We at Gibbs Hybrid have teamed up with our tier one partners to produce this fantastic opportunity in which once you have completed your Splunk training will be able to work with some of the world’s leading blue chip organisations.

For the first 10 weeks Gibbs Hybrid will provide you with full training towards a Splunk certification. In addition to this we will also provide outstanding support to ensure you gain an industry recognised certification in a disruptive technology area.

About You
Experience, Skills and Responsibilities
• Exposure working in a technology consultancy, systems integrator, professional services or vendor client services
• Experience of Scripting (Bash, Shell or PowerShell)
• Experience with both UNIX and Linux
• Experience with Big Data and Analytics
• Willing to travel to different sites when required
• Willing to develop, learn and self-educate
• Extensive experience in any of the following Networks, IT Security, Infrastructure or Application Data
