Rate:£20K to £23K Per Year
Description: Legal Secretary - Personal Injury

Our client a highly regarded law firm based in Ipswich are currently recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury Secretary to support a partner.

Duties


• Electronic diary management, booking rooms and arranging meetings
• Liaising with clients and firm’s contacts
• Using digital transcription system, Bighand, to create letters, emails and documents
• Amending and reformatting documents in Microsoft Word and using Track Changes
• Using the firm’s Accounts software, to record payments in and out, create new matters and where necessary, record time spent
• Completing standard forms
• Photocopying and scanning documents
• Maintaining orderly files – keeping filing up to date


Experience and abilities required:

• We are looking for a senior secretary with significant secretarial experience in a professional environment.
• Have the intelligence to adapt and pick up new ideas
• The ability to multi-task and work for more than 1 fee earner if necessary
• Proven team working skills
