Job Title: Front OF House Manager
Location:Ascot, Berkshire, England
Rate:£28K.0000 to £35K. Per Year
Description: A brand new opportunity has arisen to work for a huge brand of Hotels, as Front of House Manager. This would suit someone looking to work within a company where they can progress, already putting years of experience into good practice for a very well-renowned business.

Main Duties:

* To oversee and direct the Front of House operation in order to exceed stakeholder expectations, enhance brand image & maximize short & long term profitability
* To provide strategic oversight of FOH to ensure consistently exceptional operational performance & guest service to maximize short & long term profitability
* Instrumental in attracting & retaining major Hotel business
* Strategic planning for FOH areas & contribute to Rooms Division planning
* Develop new concepts, products, services & standards for FOH area
* Responsible for operational profitability of Rooms Division and FOH
* Oversee the management of the guest history system to ensure that guest records are accurately entered, and stay details are properly matched and accumulated
* Oversee the design and production of all Front of House printed matter in close liaison with the Director of Operations taking existing stocks into consideration to ensure there is no wastage
* To set direction & provide strategic oversight of FOH area in the Rooms Division to achieve consistently high levels of service, efficient administration and the highest possible yield of bedroom sales.
* Develop & lead complex, wide-ranging project s and/or programmes
* To set direction & provide entrepreneurial leadership with & across teams in FOH in order to maximise individual & team potential & develop future capability
* Budget accountability including preparation of the departmental budgets, including sales, costs and wages
* To guide and inspire exceptional team performance & mentor managers, supervisors & team members in the Front of House
* Approving all purchasing for the department, ensuring that the best possible price is obtained and Hotel procedures and standards are adhered to
* Develop innovative solutions to enhance hotel wide communication of Guest & service information
* Anticipate future guest trends & align service offer of FOH area
* Close collaboration with Director of Operations

Requirements:

* Extensive experience in a similar operational area
* Either an HND or degree in hotel administration
* Extensive experience in similar 5 star establishments, ideally within a country house hotel
* Passion for employee satisfaction
* Hotel or Industry & legislation: Health & Safety, licensing; employment law
* Strong experience in a leadership role (is preferred)
* Communication and developing relationships
* Innovation for quality and improvement
* Strategic or operational knowledge needed to perform the job; Consider processes and operational knowledge: Understanding the software potential of the Fidelio Management System in order to maximise the usage of this, and manage the configuration
* Financial accounting processes; Training systems
* A second language would be preferable
* Decision making
* People Management and development
* Analytical
