Job Title: Voice Deployment Engineer - Global Telecoms - Voip

Description: Deployment Engineer/Project Manager – Global Telecoms Giant – Technical & Client Facing

A renowned telecoms giant with a presence globally, currently in a period of rapid growth are looking to expand their teams. Reporting to the Head of Deployment, you will be joining a team of 14 as a Deployment Engineer.

The role will see you working hand-in hand alongside a Project manager where you will utilise your technical skills to help design, build, test and sign off for customer requirements. You will provide technical assistance and knowledge to customers, in order to maximise the utilisation of our clients VoIP and cloud telecommunications systems, whilst integrating network equipment and database systems into their legacy infrastructure. Specific tasks could see you optimising clients IVR, working on their software and CRM integrations, whilst being proactive in making the VoIP systems truly integrated and optimised for our client’s customers.

You must have a strong technical background in telecoms for this role, if you have project management experience only – You will not be suitable for this position.

Responsibilities:

* Working in a client facing technical position, providing solutions to customers and vendors.
* Work alongside project managers, pre-sales engineers to understand customer requirements
* Identify issues with from the project manager and provide the customer with the solution
* Conduct system tests, call routing and general troubleshooting
* Provide guidance to client network and firewall configurations
* Ticket resolution

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven evidence of excellent interpersonal skills in a client facing environment
* High quality written and verbal communication skills
* Ideally from a service provider/VoIP provider background
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Degree level or equivalent level of education
* Previous experience deploying communication systems
* Previously working with/deploying/configuring VoIP systems, Routers, troubleshooting of LAN/VoIP systems
* Knowledge of telephony tech – PBX, SIP and UC technology
* Experience of CRM systems or integration VoIP software into CRM’s e.g. Salesforce
