The Company

First People Solutions are currently recruiting for a medium sized consulting engineering firm in Aberdeen. The company have been in operation for over thirty years and work on a variety of projects including commercial, residential and retail buildings.

Due to increasing workload they require an Associate level Structural Engineer to join their Aberdeen office. Their office is close to the City Centre and is easily accessed by public transport.

The Candidate

The suitable candidate will be someone who has extensive experience in the construction industry within consulting engineering.

This role will involve managing a small design team, leading a number of projects as well as certifying design.

The successful candidate will be;

* An experienced Structural Engineer
* SER Certified
* Able to lead a team of engineers and technicians
* Confident in liaising with other members of the design team
* Experienced in industry relevant software
* Experienced in a range of materials (timber, steel, concrete and masonry).
