Salary 20,000 to 22,000 per annum.

My client has an exciting new position based in Luton. With over 20 years of experience, my client is the global leader in crew accommodations management, offering integrated systems that support their clients operation 365/24/7. They are currently looking for a strong numbers orientated Admin/Office Manager to help support the timely and efficient management of their daily reporting, purchasing and administrative tasks. The role is 45 hours per week, 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.

The Role

* Organising meetings and managing databases
* Booking transport and accommodation
* Organising company events or conferences
* Ordering stationery and furniture
* Dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries
* Preparing letters, presentations and reports
* Supervising and monitoring the work of administrative staff
* Managing office budgets
* Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
* Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
* Delegating tasks to junior employees
* Organising induction programmes for new employees
* Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date
* Using a range of software packages
* Attending meetings with senior management
* Interact with internal departments,
* Support other duties/projects as needed
* Powerful verbal and written communication skills
* Passion for customer service and must have relevant work experience
* Excellent mental capacity to make quick, smart, and rational decisions using common sense and positive attitude
* Effective communication skills and great listening skills
* Commitment to continuous improvements, changes and has a willingness to learn
* Thinks creativity and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent negotiations skills using different channels and methods of communications (phone or email)
* Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
* Ability to work in a call centre / service desk environment
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities under pressures and challenging interactions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
* Ability to manage and provide feedback to all types of individuals
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)


* One year experience of hotel/travel industry experience is a bonus.
