Job Title: Sous Chef, Chef DE Partie Pastry Chef - 18-25k +T
Location:Felixstowe
Rate:£18K to £25K Per Year    Benefits: tips, live-in, meals, uniform
Description: At Select Norwich we are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef and Sous Chef on behalf of our client, one of the oldest hotels in the Suffolk area. Having recently been taken over, the Hotel is currently looking to expand their kitchen team.
The newly appointed Head Chef is looking to gain Rosettes for the kitchen in the future, so is looking for ambitious and passionate team members who consistently strive for perfection.

The Role
• Work efficiently within the brigade, cooking high quality dishes prepared with locally sourced, fresh ingredients
• Remain calm and composed; the Hotel caters for weddings and other events, so the Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef and Sous Chef must strive under pressure
• Use creative flare and knowledge of seasonality to aid the Head Chef in developing and planning menus
• The Sous Chef will be confident in running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring the that the high standards are consistently met and exceeded, and providing further training for more junior members of the team when needed

Experience and Skills required
• Sous Chef should preferably have experience in a Rosette awarded establishment
• Chef de Partie must have larder experience
• Experience working with fresh ingredients to a high standard is desired
• Traditionally trained with modern, creative flare

Salary and Benefits
• Salaries of 18,000-20,000 for Chef de Partie, 23,000 for Pastry Chef and 25,000 for Sous Chef (all dependant on experience)
• Share of generous tips on top of salary
• Working 5 days out of 7 (generally 2 consecutive days off)
• Combination of split and straight shifts
• Meals on shift
• Uniform provided
• Live-in available if required
