Job Title: Civil Engineering Microstation / Cad Technician
Rate:£26K to £30K Per Year    Benefits: Pension and other benefits
Description: THE ROLE

My client now needs a CAD Technician who is experienced in the use of Microstation for Rail and civil engineering projects to join their Leeds office.

You should be able to produce drawings and manage drawing production for various projects.

Experience of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation and Projectwise is preferred.


My client is a large multi disciplinary firm of consulting engineers working across a wide range of sectors.


You will ideally have an HNC or similar in civil engineering plus have good working knowledge in particluar of Microstation and ProjectWise.

Some experience required of working on railway infrastructure or similar civil engineering projects.

You should be able to provide detailed design and technical support to the project engineers.

Good communication skills essential to liaise with other design teams, project managers and the clients.

You should be able to supervise assistant CAD technicians.

Salary in the range of 26000 to 30000 plus pension and other benefits.
