Job Title: Payroll Assistant
Location:Aberdeen
Rate:£23K to £25K Per Year    Benefits: benefits
Description: We are looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant for our client based in Tullos.

You will have a background in processing a large monthly payroll in line with correct HMRC processes.

To ensure accurate and complete processing and recording in all payroll matters.
To account for and properly process all payroll information received.
To ensure that accounting and payroll records remain confidential, are accurately maintained and updated daily.
To take part in and help to maintain the payroll system of internal control.
To alert management to any concerns, internal control issues and irregularities.
To maintain a control system for PAYE.

KEY TASKS

Ensure that all information received is properly controlled, accounted for and allocated to the correct division/employee.
Ensure that no duplicate payments are made
Ensure that Tax/Ni deductions are correctly calculated and analysed in accordance with HM Revenue.
Ensure that all payments made to employees are authorised by the appropriate line manager.
Ensure that no payroll is processed via the BAC’s system until the correct Director/General Manager has approved in writing.
