Job Title: Nightshift Hygiene Manager
Rate:£ Per Year    Benefits: Competitive Salary
Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nightshift Hygiene Manager to join our growing food manufacturing client. The main duties for this position would be to deliver site hygiene standards through proactive planning, development, mentoring and supervision.

This position is based in Glasgow

Key Responsibilities:

* Manages the overall hygiene infrastructure including relevant systems, equipment and documentation
* Develop hygiene policies, schedules, operating procedures and training
* Plan and schedule hygiene activities/projects based on food risk
* Carries out audits and hygiene quality activities/monitoring
* Maintain HACCP system
* People management – responsible for embedding a hygiene focussed culture throughout the workforce and at all levels (from shopfloor to senior management)
* Management reporting – relating to achievements, non-conformances, corrective actions and future strategy
* Training – development site specific training and presenting said training to the workforce
* Drive hygiene awareness and improvements across the business

The Candidate:

Must have:

* Knowledge and experience of HACCP
* Knowledge and experience of BRC Standards
* Demonstrable experience of managing hygiene based functions WITHIN FOOD MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENTS
* Relevant hygiene qualifications and training
* Some rudimentary knowledge of Health & Safety
* Ability to lead and influence at all levels (shopfloor to senior management)
