Who will I be working with?

Héroux-Devtek is an international company specialising in the design, development, manufacture, integration, testing and repair and overhaul of landing gear and actuation systems and components for the Aerospace market. So, what will the role of Engineering Team Leader entail?

Reporting to the Cycle 2 Manager, as a Team Leader you'll be responsible for supervising a team of skilled technicians within the plating and machining sections. You will liaise with stakeholders to ensure all production requirements are met. You'll be the first point of contact for emergency situations during shift patterns, with other duties to include but not be limited to:

* Ensuring team members are working to procedure, following health and safety requirements
* Identifying training requirements and assisting with training when required
* Ensuring team members produce conforming products with daily, weekly and monthly requirements met, and test pieces produced within agreed timescales
* Conducting annual appraisals with the Technician's
* Conducting weekly health and safety checks
* Participating in reject analysis and rectification actions

What will I need to be considered for this Engineering Team Leader vacancy?

* Proven experience within a team leader / supervisory role in an engineering environment
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually, using own initiative
* A proactive, can-do attitude and flexible approach to work
* High level of attention to detail

Knowledge of treatments and machining techniques would be advantageous but not essential.
