Job Title: Senior Java Electronic Trading Developer
Location:Docklands
Rate:£550 to £645 Per Day
Description: Senior Java Electronic Trading Developer is required by a Global Investment Bank.

Technical Skills/Experience:
Solid core Java development skills with minimum 5 years professional experience. Must have Java 8 experience as well.
Experience in building, testing, maintaining, and supporting large scale applications – particularly realtime, distributed and event driven applications.
Knowledge of KDB, Tibco EMS, Sybase, RHEL are a plus.
Knowledge of ION MarketView and FIX Protocol are also desirable.
Understands and adheres to Best Practices and the Full Development Lifecycle – including Unit/Integration Testing, Code Reviews, Continuous Build & Automated Deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
Senior developer enhancing/extending functionality of the real-time Electronic Trading platform according to business requirements
End to end Java development: including analysis, development, testing, build, deployment and third line support.
Working with a Global Development team (NY, London, Warsaw, Shanghai, Toronto)
Assist peer development teams with questions and trouble-shooting
Balancing fast time to market (client delivery) with proper governance, compliance, and audit mandates

Business Knowledge/Experience
It is highly desirable for candidates to have knowledge of the following:
Credit Markets
Electronic Trading
Ability to own and drive deliverables while collaborating with peers and other Technology teams
