Job Title: Business Continuity CO-Ordinator

Exciting new opportunity has been created with an evolving financial services organisation based in Surrey.

The role will to act as a Continuity Co-ordinator that will support the Continuity Manager in managing the risks that could seriously impact Business and IT services and ensure that plans are in place and tested so that services and operations can be recovered within expected service levels.

Responsibilities include:

IT Service Continuity
• Accountable for carrying out risk analysis of the key IT systems and providing outcomes to the CM. In support of establishing points of vulnerability and recommendation of mitigating strategies.
• Responsible for gathering of data to conduct impact analysis on loss of IT services.
• Responsible for the build and maintenance of an IT Service Risk register and gathering of data from multiple sources around ITSC risks.
• Act as a Service Continuity Champion by providing advice and guidance and support as necessary to the business and the CM
• Work with the CM in building and maintaining support and service resumption procedural documents.
• Responsible for gathering data required for input into regular reports on current state of disaster recovery and service continuity arrangements.
• Work with multiple parties to establish and gather pertinent information around the business impact on loss of IT services.
• Communicate to all key stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of regular DR tests
• Support the CM in planning an ongoing calendar of DR tests to be undertaken annually through liaison with multiple stakeholders
• Maintain the technical recovery plans as directed by the CM
• Gather all auditable records of IT SC status and tests
• Gather all auditable records of key suppliers and their technical continuity arrangements
• Gather and assimilate the monthly IT SC status report, highlighting gaps/risk against IT SC policy for the CM review

Business Continuity:
• Co-ordination of the review of Business Continuity policy and maintenance thereof (annually)
• Communicate to all key stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of regular business recovery tests
• Co-ordinate processes alongside SunGard to maintain operational supplier management
