Job Description

This is an exciting time to join Regus, our business is growing rapidly and we are making significant changes to boost scalability and profitability. The Global Pricing team is at the heart of commercial decision making. The pricing strategies we devise and execute directly drive volume and earnings and are correspondingly visible in the organisation.
This role reports to the Global Pricing Manager and is concerned with the creation and execution of evidence-based pricing strategies that deliver real results.

Managing performance improvement initiatives

-Support Global Pricing Manager in the execution of performance improvement projects
-Support entails managing the project plan, driving decision making and executing internally
Example initiatives: ‘Reduction in price leakage’, ‘price management across products’

Optimisation / automation of operational processes
-Enhance reporting output and analytical capability
-Development of new tools to assist in the decision-making process, deliver prices to sales systems, and accurately capture price history

Execution and continuous improvement of pricing strategy
-Through monitoring impact of new strategy and recommending modifications, as required
-Use performance analysis to calibrate existing price strategy and rules

Providing distinctive problem solving capability
-Analyse internal sales & pricing data and external market & competitive data to recommend pricing decisions
oExample problem: ‘Sales is flat in market X, what price action is suitable to maximize sales revenues?’

The Candidate
Whilst candidates will be assessed individually, the following are key selection criteria:
Impressive academic credentials – at least a 2i degree, from an established university, in a numerate, scientific or business discipline
A minimum of 2 years commercial success since graduation in an environment such as external or internal consultancy, or a relevant operational area.
An analytical experience base, enabling a natural inclination to problem solve from a numerate start point. This could be represented by an Operational Research or similar background. Experience in pricing optimisation, revenue/yield management or similar is preferred.
Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate political aspects such as regional versus central balance
Experience of and ability to undertake projects from initial inception through to final completion
Sound knowledge/experience of relevant IT tools especially: Excel, vba, MS SQL, Access, or other coding capability would be useful
