We are looking for a Volunteer Co-ordinator/Community Capacity Builder to help us deliver our innovative service by recruiting and training members of the local communities to become volunteers. You will work across the Stroud District. The role will involve:

• Promoting the service across the Stroud District, identifying individuals who want to make a positive contribution to their local communities through volunteering
• Working closely with the Community Connectors to build a volunteer base in each locality
• Work with existing providers across the area to ensure the service is promoted
and that the service builds and develops volunteers across the Locality

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in challenging conditions with individuals who may be vulnerable, have a flexible approach to team working as well as the ability to travel across the county.
