Job Title: Solutions Architect
Location:Essex
Rate:£65K to £70K Per Year
Description: Practicus is partnering exclusively with a specialist insurance company that is invested in improving the way it uses technology through innovation and disruption. This role is about leading a team of developers and bringing in the knowledge & skills of technical architecture into the company to take their work to the next level. The salary expectation for this role is £65,000 - £70,000.

This role will require you to lead and manage a team of c15 people (on & offshore) in an agile environment, it also requires you to regularly interact with members/ product owners of the business so stakeholder engagement, leadership and good communication is key.

The role in question will not suit someone who is used to delegating the majority of work, sitting in their office and working from the shadows. This role needs someone who is a visible leader, not afraid to still be hands on from time to time.

Some key skills that are required are but not limited to:

∑Proven experience at architect level

∑Use of web aplications

∑Background in insurance / financial services (desired)

∑Ability to lead and work in an agile environment

∑Understanding of cutting edge technology and its application

∑Hands on ability to use; .NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript

∑Experience in build and buy strategy and moving from legacy systems
