Job Title: Key Account Manager - Motorsport Engineering
Rate:£30K to £32K Per Year    Benefits: Excellent Benefits

Based – Devon

Our Client are a world class automotive engineering firm who produce parts for the motorsport and defence industries. They are a growing and dynamic business who are looking to increase market share and want to recruit a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager with solid automotive engineering experience. You will be responsible for managing existing dealers and distributors, strengthening relationships and growing the business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out strategic formulation for future business development
* Engage with Marketing initiatives and strategy especially with trade shows and exhibitions
* Assist with ongoing budget development
* Be the customer voice within the company and demonstrate a positive can-do attitude
* Be involved in the improvement of current methods and processes where required
* Customer base management within the UK, oversee organic growth, maximising opportunity, turnover and profitability of existing and new accounts
* Develop new business opportunities and establish and drive strong business relationships

* Provide accurate M.I and forecasts trends for monthly and quarterly analysis by stakeholders
* Ensure technical competence with ability to interpret and discuss customer requirements
* Ensure compliance to company best practice

Key Skills and Experience Required:

* The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ B2B experience within a “Key Account Management” role in an automotive environment
* Experience of working within automotive engineering is required – or an engineering degree
* Ideal candidates will be familiar with ISO9001 and TS16949 automotive standards
* Self-starter, able to work well remotely and has excellent time management skills
* Able to cross sell and up-sell customers to achieve targets and increase sales revenue
* Confident personality, well presented with gravitas to handle presentations at all levels
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and excellent IT skills / PowerPoint
* Able to work effectively in a team ensuring that the best outcome for the company
* The ability to manage multiple projects at once & deliver them on time
