Job Title: Sales And Key Account – Animal Heath, UK

Description: A unique opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Key Account Manager with expertise within the Animal Heath area to join a renowned pharmaceutical organisation based in the UK. Our client is a global pharmaceutical company they have a diverse range of products covering numerous therapy areas, as well as an impressive portfolio of Animal Health products. Through ground-breaking research, technological innovation they turn their creative ideas into exceptional results.

Within this role you will:

• You will be responsible for building existing accounts as well as promoting business model products to key accounts across the UK
• Your sound knowledge and experience within the Animal Health market will play a large impact on developing and reinventing marketing strategies for the business
• Coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of Territory Plans
• Motivating the team to ensure that sales targets are achieved in-line with the business unit and overall business plans
• Creating and engendering an environment of support and teamwork
• Recruiting, retaining and developing individuals to the highest company standards and competencies, leading by example
• Coordinating sales, marketing and technical activities within the field to deliver against the agreed Business unit objectives
• Coaching and training all territory business managers in-line with the company standards, policies and processes
• Setting clear performance objectives, recognizing and rewarding achievement while also managing areas of development
• Drive commercial initiatives through excellent planning and communication with the sales, marketing, finance, research, customer insights, logistics, procurement, development and design teams

You will bring to the role:

• Advanced degree
• A proven manager from within the pharmaceutical or animal health markets
• Exceptional relationship building skills and strong commercial acumen and awareness
• The ability to negotiate and problem solve – forging strong long term professional relationships
• Good understanding of marketing and business functions with a strong focus on strategic thinking and business impact Excellent understanding of CRM, sales process and account management
• Good leadership and communication skills both orally and written
• Excellent coaching ability
• Persuasive and influential
• Excellent level of financial and business acumen
• A team player, with the ability collaborative with peers across a business matrix
• A deep understanding of the animal health environment is beneficial
• English is required
