Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (shire, UK)
Location:Cambridge

Description: This is a newly created position to support the growth and success of an award winning Medical Device product design consultancy.

In this highly visible leadership position you will support major product development projects from inception to manufacture for a diverse range of innovative products. As the main QA point of contact for major clients you will have strong presentation experience, excellent technical expertise and be confident operating cross functionally with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate as Lead QA Engineer for Medical Device projects
• Support a diverse range of products and processes
• Lead and mentor QA Engineers
• Develop, evaluate & audit Design History Files (DHF)
• Identify gaps affecting design control
• Design verification & validation

Required experience:

• University degree in Engineering or Sciences
• Minimum 5 years’ Quality Management experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing/development
• International
• FDA21 CFR Parts 820, 211 & 210
• Quality – ISO 13485, ISO 14971
• DHF compilation
• Client facing and presentation
