Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Rate:£40K to £50K Per Year

Our client is an award-winning digital agency in Hertfordshire seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their highly experienced team.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Software Engineering. Ultimately, our client needs someone who is keen, highly motivated and extremely passionate about the work that they do. You’ll benefit significantly from an innovative and successful approach to getting the most out of your time at work.

The chosen candidate will work with developers and project managers to help deliver client projects using the latest technology and methods. Architect technical solutions for other developers. Provide guidance and quality assurance for other members of the team. Work on projects from start to finish as well as maintaining existing applications.

You will be expected to: Lead small teams of developers on various agile projects. Using Node.js, React, Mongodb etc. Assist in the development and maintenance of our in house Node.js publishing platform. Provide technical expertise and guidance to other teams within the business
You will have strong programming skills with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Have written software for a number of languages and platforms Love coding and have a Computing related degree.

Follow TDD to the letter and be excited with 100% code coverage. Have experience in at least Javascript, Node.js or React. Have excellent communications skills and be able to explain complex problems to any audience. Experienced using Git, SVN or other source control tools.
