Our client are a successful Asset Management and Investment company who have a strong focus on the renewable energy sector. They are currently looking to hire a Wind and Solar Asset Manager to join the team in London.

The role will report to the Senior Asset Manager and will be part of a team that manages over 250 energy generating companies valued in excess of 2bn. The operational activities include solar power parks, anaerobic digestion systems, wind farms and gas fired. The operational solar portfolio is the largest in the UK, with a growing international presence.

Required skills:
- The ideal candidate will bring material commercial expertise and at least 3 years` experience in the operation and management of solar power farms, whether in the UK or abroad
- Good prioritisation skills to manage both site specific and portfolio wide issues across multiple companies; understanding the financial, legal and technical considerations.
- They will have good commercial acumen and communication skills with which to design and deliver portfolio level optimisation and drive efficiencies and improvements in service from the outsourced functions
- Significant knowledge of solar power plant operation and management, including understanding of key project milestones.
- Leading complex contractual negotiations, taking into account commercial, legal and technical considerations
