The Company

A rapidly expanding branded food business that supplies the majority of the UK`s leading grocery retailers with premium chilled, frozen, and ambient foods. With ambitious but achievable growth plans, they are seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager to drive the sales plan in the UK market.

The Role

The Manager appointed will lead and implement the strategic commercial plan, developing profitable sales growth. With a focus on account management and securing† new business, they will identify commercial opportunities and will nurture specific accounts including the cross-selling of products, developing the account plan, delivering profit targets, and developing new business with under-developed accounts.

The emphasis of this role is on a combination of strategy implementation, account management, winning new business and acting as the commercial link between contract manufacturers and customers. Applicants will need a winning mentality combined with tenacity and relationship building skills. The Commercial Manager will implement structures and systems to ensure sustainable profit and growth of each category by setting relevant targets and managing performance. They will establish the strategic vision and lead the development and implementation of a business plan that will see the company build market share within all categories.†
