The Global Pricing team is at the heart of commercial decision making and the pricing strategies we devise and execute directly drive volume and earnings and are correspondingly visible in the organisation.

This role reports the MD, Products, Price and BI and is concerned with the creation and execution of evidence-based pricing strategies that deliver real results. Working with colleagues, this role is global and cross-functional.

• Develop pricing strategies in-line with revenue management principles to get optimal revenue performance

• Execute revenue management strategy
o Manage the implementation by coordinating with various internal stakeholders – Sales, IT, Marketing, Regional management

• Provide distinctive problem solving capability
o Analyse internal sales & pricing data and external market & competitive data to recommend approaches to increase revenue – including pricing, sales and operational levers

• Continuous improvement of revenue management strategy and approaches
o By continuously monitoring the impact of the new pricing strategy and performing additional analyses, recommend improvements

• Manage performance improvement initiatives
o Support entails managing the project plan, driving decision making, and executing in the field

The Candidate

You are likely to be a Senior Manager responsible for revenue management or a consultant advising on the same. Your competencies include:
• Deep understanding of revenue management theory and practise
• Knowledge of relevant analytical approaches including regression modelling, segmentation, market research, forecasting, and optimization.
• People management – leading small teams
• Experience of driving business change, including IT-driven process change
• Working effectively across a global matrix organisation
• Experience in commercial real estate, subscription-based and fixed-capacity business would be useful, but not necessary
• Strong knowledge of Excel is vital; SQL skills a benefit but not essential.

Location

London (Paddington) and Slough – though main location at discretion of the candidate
