Job Title: Deputy Team Leader

Description: Deputy Team Leader – Reprographics, Team Leadership, Customer Service - City of London – Salary of up to 25k


* The successful candidate will be experienced in Reprographics and will have previously held a Team Leader, Supervisor or Deputy Team Leader position.

Job Purpose

* Support the team leader in directing the team to deliver against the required Service Levels (SLAs) and high quality standards
* Support training across all service lines
* Monitor and ensure all processes are followed correctly by their team
* Play a supporting role to the team and clients for issues and enquiries
* Champion best practice across all areas
* Support the Team Leader in managing and directing the team


* Manage the day to day operation to achieve SLAs and KPIs, monitoring performance of the team, against SLAs,
* Support the team leader by reporting any issues via the DSR
* Use sound understanding of processes and service to develop the team and make suggestion to the team leader on improvement that can be made to the service offering
* Ensure all issues or complaints and escalate to the Team Leader
* To support best practice and ensure this is maintained within the team
* Be responsible for own work load and use the team to delivery tasks effectively
* Support Team Leader with HR related activity when required (including Back to work interviews and 1:1’s)
* Ensure any overtime / flexible working within the operation is justified and authorised in advance by Team Manager
* Maintain good working relationships with clients
* Support the Team leader in completing regular review of the processes carried out by the team
* Produce timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly MI, and submit as required
* Complete all training within required timescales, ensuring compliance with compulsory courses, and enabling flexibility of duties to support the service
* Ensure all team members are adequately trained and develop team to support business needs
* Own the training matrix and ensure skill gaps are identified and resolved. Escalate any issues with the Team Leader
* Support the wider team by being flexible in delivering whatever activity is requested by Team Leader
* Communicating well with the team to ensure all duties and tasks are completed on time
* Enforce safe working practices, and maintain a tidy and safe work area and ensure servicing of all equipment is carried out safely and on time (including Vehicles) and ensure weekly H&S checks are completed
* Support the team leader with all Health and Safety related activity (including risk assessments)
* Lead change with a positive approach
* Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key suppliers

Skills & Experience required

* Reprographics knowledge
* Strong Verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to set, achieve, and support team, to achieve agreed deadlines
* Strong and effective delegation skills
* Able to successfully manage and motivate their team
* Ability to step up to Team Leader role when required
