Job Title: Data Protection Officer - Dpo - Gdpr
Rate:£70K to £80K Per Year
Description: I am currently recruiting on behalf of my reputable client who are looking to hire an experienced Data Protection Officer to join their team based in central London. The post holder will be responsible for leading the organisation through GDPR compliance and beyond. In addition to this they will be responsible for being the single point of contact for Data Protection queries and maintaining the firms global Data Protection framework. This will include carrying out regular privacy impact assessments, dealing with complex subject access requests and reporting to board on formal compliance issues.

See below for required experience ;

* GDPR implementation experience preferably gained within a Global organisation
* SME in the Data Protection Act 1988 (5-7 years experience)
* Legal or Accounting Background Desirable
* Experience of dealing with complex and voluminous subject access requests
* Strong background in a regulatory capacity - good balance of advisory and technical knowledge
* Compliance and risk management exposure at a senior level for a global organisation in preferable
* Practical experience in the area of data privacy and protection in both the UK and foreign markets
* Expert knowledge of the regulations related to the storage, collection , transferring and sharing of personal data in an international context.
