Job Title: 1st Line Support
Rate:£8 to £9 Per Hour
Description: Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for all staff, establish the level of assistance required and if necessary progress the call to the next line of support and/or any appropriate third party for further assistance.
• Always keep the customer informed as to the call progress and provide suitable workarounds and/or contingencies where possible.
• Deliver excellent customer service for all support requests or incidents and adhere to all service management principles.
• Log all incidents on the Service Desk Management system. Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
• Ensure system/server availability and assist in report production and exports.
• Install, configure, repair and support computer hardware and software.
• Perform routine backups and archive files stored on the network to assist with disaster recovery.
• Participate in infrastructure and technology projects as required.
• Be flexible, when needed to undertake any other task as required by management and provide out-of-hours support as and when necessary.
