As a result of continuously increasing workloads, my client is urgently seeking to recruit an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join their team in the Crewe area on a contractual basis. Working within the rail industry, the successful Electrical/Mechanical Engineers should have experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance and modifications on Rail vehicles.

The successful Electrical Mechanical Engineers will need to be experienced in Electrical/Mechanical maintenance and modifications of rolling stock. They will be working on a range of diesel / electric Rail vehicles. The duties will involve modification work to their current fleet of vehicles

Qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds or NQV Level 3), or an indentured apprenticeship, would be advantageous for the role.

The role will be working Monday – Friday on a day’s shift pattern and due to the nature of the role, all Engineers will be subject to random Drugs & Alcohol testing.
