A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a customer facing, assurance, incident, supplier or 1st line support / project coordinator to join an international telecoms service provider to help resolve major incidents for global enterprise customers with IP MPLS, VPN network solutions.

As a key member of the assurance and supplier management team, you will engage with 3rd party telecoms carriers and telecoms operators to manage escalations of network outages and issues. You will engage with customers to ensure that they are up to date with the progress of the incident as will strive to return service as quickly as possible.

You will manage and develop internal and external customer relationships to ensure the highest level of service is delivered at all times.

Working for this highly respected & global telecommunications brand as part of the ITIL Service Delivery and Customer Operations team, the position is offered on a permanent basis with a package of up to 26,000 plus 10% bonus and corporate benefits.

The role holder will support and drive the progression of major incidents that occur within the core operations of the business in line with customer expectations and SLA’s. You will take overall ownership and responsibility for communication with customers and internal stakeholders and ensure that all major incidents are closed with detailed accurate information.

Assurance Management:

* Review open incidents to ensure that they progress in line with SLAs and internal processes
* Act as a point of management escalation for allocated customers
* Support the service managers for assurance related matters.

Supplier Operations Management:

* Act as a senior point of escalation for internal teams for supplier related issues
* Participate in supplier service as required
* Provide supplier performance related input to the business as required

The successful candidate will be a good communicator that is capable of maintaining effective and professional with Customers and Suppliers alike. They will understand and be able to perform basic troubleshooting on data networks, and be able to discuss and progress incidents and orders with third party suppliers. Any candidates with a CCNA or ITIL certification are highly desirable.

Candidates must be able to work in an organized and efficient manner and be able to work within predefined Service Level Agreements. The ability to produce good quality written communications is essential.
