Job Title: Business Analyst - London Insurance Market
Location:City of London
Rate:£50K to £55K Per Year
Description: Business Analyst needed to join this technology business in the London Market / Lloyds Insurance Sector. Working as part of a small senior management team the Business Analyst will deliver a wide range of technology projects.

The key areas of responsibility include:

Work closely with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements for the project, developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project.

* Define the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project, and manage their development and delivery.
* To ensure that the project is delivered within the financial requirements of the Business.
* To estimate and plan projects from start to finish, with built in contingencies.
* To ensure projects meet industry leading quality standards.
* Manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional team assigned to the project.
* To conduct project presentations and compile reports.


The successful candidate will have experience working within the London Market / Lloyds Insurance sector and have a comprehensive awareness of existing and developing technologies and their impact on a business.

This will include managing multiple projects through the whole project life cycle for technical, software development and implementation Projects using formal Project management methodologies.

They will have a proven track record of delivering business and IT change projects in a technical environment, be Prince 2 certified with knowledge of a variety of project approaches e.g. Agile

Clearly the role will also need superb communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work with and influence colleagues and third parties at all levels.
