Job Title: Technical Client Authority/Consultant
Location:London
Rate:£50K to £55K Per Year    Benefits: Benefits
Description: Radius is seeking a technical Client Authority/Adviser for an expanding and well established MSP in central london. This role will involve some client facing role, however all the clients are based in London. This position will suit some who has a strong technical infrastructure background and is looking to move into a more hands off consultant type position where you technical prowess and personality will be utilised. THIS IS NOT A PRESALES POSITION or SOLUTION ARCHITECT, however these are career options.This is also a non hands on role.

Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide optimal value to the business by:
• Providing the strategy and roadmaps to existing Managed Service customers
• Supporting the Sales Team, Service Delivery and TAM teams by providing a single interface for strategy and roadmap activities within existing customers
• Articulating the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical audiences

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and assist other resources on customer technical architecture strategy and technology roadmap. To review all technical developments with a keen eye on customer satisfaction
• Responsible for building and costing the technical elements of any service proposed to existing customers
• Working with Solution and Service Architects to cost service elements of managed services solutions which include the resource based elements of the service
• Ability to work as technology specialist, understand network infrastructure and system characteristics, have vision of customer needs and be able to identify creative solutions
• To attend meetings with customers to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
• Preparing and reviewing commercial costs for proposed solutions and working with sales team to deliver these proposals
• Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues
• Attend customer briefings and presentations
• Interact with customer to identify add-on sales opportunities, which creates sustainable value and growth to customer and Advanced

Knowledge and Experience

Essential Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years technical experience
• Experience across multiple hardware and software environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments
• Experience across multiple market verticals and in several technology disciplines
• Expertise across a variety of technology platforms including infrastructure, desktops and mobile devices
• Proven capability in delivering and maintaining both customer satisfaction and customer technology roadmaps
• Must be comfortable working at CEO/Director Level (internal and external)
• Solid understanding of internal governance procedures
• Proven track record of solving complex problems in a consultative manner
• Highly motivated with the successful ability to manage time and workload
• Technical skills and ease with software systems
• Good understanding and experience of an ITIL based delivery model

Education / Qualifications
Degree educated highly preferred
Industry qualification (e.g. MCSE, CCP, CCNA, etc.) preferred
