My client is a global Tech company with European headquarters in a brand new facility in London. The client is looking for a Facilities Manager .

The successful candidate will manage a world class, customer focused facility, leading and managing the FM team inspiring them to demonstrate a commitment to deliver world class customer service.
Role Summary:
•Lead, motivate and develop the onsite team to demonstrate best practice and deliver the highest levels of customer care at all time
•To work within the requirements of the H&S and Security policies, ensuring that all non-conformances and opportunities for improvement are acted upon
•Act as prime customer interface for key business contacts and local client portfolio contacts
•Control and manage the budget
•Continuously improve all FM service lines through best practice, demonstrating a proactive approach
•Develop and maintain successful working relationships with the client, key stakeholders and customers
•To provide accurate and timely monthly reports to Customer Business Manager on operational performance, people and finances
•Ensure a Business Continuity Plan is in place and it is managed
•Responsible for ensuring that all building and plant equipment is maintained and operated in a safe manner and in accordance with agreed SLA’s
•Control, monitor and review contracts and supplier measurements
•Manage and coordinate project work and ad hoc requests
•To ensure the EHS Management system is maintained and followed in line with company expectations
Experience Required:
•Educated to degree level ideally in Facilities Management discipline - preferred
•Member of BIFM or another FM professional body
•Minimum IOSH Managing Safely qualified
•Demonstrable operational hands on experience in Facilities Management with strong proven leadership skills
•Experience of both hard and soft services an advantage
•Good communication skills
•Good inter-personal skills in dealing with both customers and colleagues
•Able to work on own initiative
•Demonstrate a sound understanding of current legislation, environmental and quality related issues, including sustainability and its impact on energy
•Commercial acumen
•Ability to work effectively across different cultures
•Flexible, self-motivated and resilient approach including ability to work away from home for periods of time as business needs dictate
