Job Title: Construction Supervisor - E And I

Description: My Client is currently searching a Construction Supervisor for a modification of an Industrial project in the UK for a 6 month renewable contract. The Construction supervisor will be required to:

- Supervises the work of contractor`s personnel.
- Makes sure that all required HSE measures have been taken.
- Makes HSE inspections and/or observations at site.
- Has a thorough knowledge of the project HSE plan and promotes and maintains a positive attitude towards HSE in all aspects of the work.
- Ensures that all required HSE measures are taken within his area of control and is accountable for the results achieved.
- Ensures the correct use of personal protective equipment, plan equipment, scaffolding, etc. and makes regular spot checks.
- Attends and participates actively in HSE meetings and promotion campaigns.
- In general he shall supervise:
-Quality of the work according to standards and specifications.
-Quality and quantity control of supplied materials.
-Execution of the work according to time schedules.
-Information and records for construction administration.
-Required tests and checks.
- Sees to it that the work will be executed under safe conditions.
- Maintains regular meetings with the Subcontractors.
- Maintains schedules.
- Reports on progress and quality of work performed.
- Keeps a daily log to record all particulars that occur the days works.
