This role has excellent potential for career development. You will need to be someone who enjoys the responsibility of delivering high quality work associated with valuation reports, references and other qualifying issues to package the residential mortgage applications in support of the underwriters up to offer stage. The Mortgage Case Managers are an essential part of the team, operating at the heart of the business. Consequently you will need to be well educated and, ideally, have some CeMAP qualification.
Significant growth within their niche market has meant that the lender now needs to expand the existing residential mortgage processing capability and recruit an additional Mortgage Case Manager to the team. The role carries the responsibility for processing and managing new mortgage enquiries and applications. It creates the opportunity for you to join an exciting, expanding business and enjoy the benefits that this can bring.
In addition to at least two full years of residential mortgage processing experience, you will need to have excellent administration capabilities and well-honed skills in all forms of communication together with good IT literacy. Of course there will be times when things get really busy and so it is important that you can reference periods where you have managed the additional pressure.
This specialist residential mortgage lender has excellent funding and a management team that is both highly professional and very customer focused. The business is growing at a pace, demanding additional mortgage underwriting capacity and a support team of Mortgage Case Managers that also needs to expand in order to maintain the work-flow.
The lending is largely oriented to the near-prime mortgage market and so evaluation is based on manual assessment of each individual case. The Underwriters and Mortgage Case Managers are therefore required to manage the business with a very hands-on approach. Based in mid-Surrey, the company provides a much needed specialist mortgage loan facility, which is all distributed via the financial intermediary channel.

Key responsibilities of the role:
Deliver a first class proactive customer service through inbound and outbound communication by telephone, email and letter to all case stakeholders including introducers, service suppliers, reference providers and occasionally applicants
Input and process new business enquiries to pre-defined standards and service level agreements ready for underwriter approval.
Ensuring a high level of accuracy for data entry and ongoing record keeping.
Supporting and being a pro-active member of the underwriting team and peer group to deliver an excellent, compliant service and prompt and accurate decisions at each stage of the process.
