AutoCAD / CAD design engineer for a world leading and award winning Engineering firm based in Sussex. As a bright and competent AutoCAD, CAD design engineer you will have a minimum 3yrs AutoCAD commercial experience working in design and product development.
Capable of producing good quality detailed 3D and 2D design models using AutoCAD Inventor, Mechanical Desktop and AutoCAD Release you will be fully computer literate and also understand Microsoft software such as Word and Excel.
As AutoCAD design engineer you will be responsible for the design and detail of engineering equipment for industry, in adherence to standards and certifications. Using AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor and Innocielo Teamwork for data and document management. Designs will include fabricated and machined enclosures, electronic enclosures, sheet metal piece parts, welding design principles and engine systems. Drawings will be done to in house standards and BS8888. Although not expected to have specific experience in these areas an aptitude and willingness to turn your AutoCAD skills to new sectors is key.
With an HNC in Mechanical Engineering you will be joining a fun, challenging and non-political environment to work. Expected to work on your own and as part of a team you will report to the CAD design team leader.
