Health & Safety Manager
The role:
The key contact between the organisation and the regulatory authorities
To ensure continuing development of the OHSAS 18001 safety management system on site
Management of the company’s compliance with COMAH regulations
Advise and consult with senior management to review all methods of work, equipment and processes, and actively promote and develop a “total safety” culture
Keep abreast with new legislation and new H&S methods/processes
Provide Health & Safety training and instruction to the workforce, visitors and contractors
The candidate:
Extensive experience in a senior Health & Safety management role within a complex manufacturing organisation
Educated to diploma level in Occupational Health & Safety
You will have a practical, hands-on approach
You will be highly organised and persuasive, with strong communication skills
