Description:
Application Centre are recruiting Java Web Developers, Excellent Java and Java EE skills.
Good OO design skills coupled with knowledge and experience in the application of design patterns, UML, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. A willingness to learn and embrace new technologies.
XSLT, Java, SERVLETS, Good OO design skills, UML, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. SOA, Web Services, REST, Database Design, Oracle 9+, AJAX, Hibernate, Spring and Maven would be an advantage.
Understand and apply all aspects of the software life cycle, including:
Prototyping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, training and documentation.
Production of quality documentation.
High coverage for automated testing of applications.
Adhering to the enterprise architecture and associated standards.
Following software development procedures and processes.
Understand and apply security best practices to web-applications.
Keeping up-to-date with industry developments, best practices and technical skills.
Regular reporting on progress and issues that impact on ability to perform.

Java Web Developers to work on a range of new and existing projects for the Client Group.

To ensure the smooth running and availability of applications
Experience required: At least 3 years experience using the majority of the skill set below.
Skills required: Primary: XSLT, Java, SERVLETS, (all a must)
Secondary: J2EE, SQL, JSP, Oracle
