Newly Qualified Accountant £25-32000 My client is a very successful services business located on the outskirts of Plymouth city centre (with parking). Due to expansion, they are currently recruiting for a Principle Accountant to join their large finance team. This role would ideally suit a newly qualified candidate, from either Practice or Commercial business. Vacancy Description Primary Purpose: To provide primary financial information to Directors and Project/Cost Centres Managers to enable them to exercise "best practice" financial control over their areas (and hence maximise profitability). Principal Tasks and Responsibilities: Preparation of, scrutiny of and explanation of monthly accounts. The above include:- P&L A/C, Balance Sheet, Contribution Statement, A4, Order Book, PSR's, Manhour Matrix & Cashflow. Ensuring invoicing for all Revenue areas is carried out IAW contracts and in a timely manner. Ensure liaison with Managers to produce forecasts and budgets to established timetables. Review actual and forecast variances from budget and assist in initiating any necessary actions resulting from such reviews. Assist in preparation of CAPEX submissions, shareholders and ad-hoc information etc. Develop and coach non-financial Managers in financial management techniques and processes. Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Qualified ACCA/CIMA Proven experience in Management Accounting techniques and their application to financial data and project work. Good interpersonal skills and tenacity re ensuring that control information is promptly and effectively used. This is an urgent requirement so please apply ASAP.
