This role will be leading a team of sales people. To maximise the contribution of profitable sales through the delivery sales excellence and inspirational leadership around both the My clienttive Microsoft & Business Intelligence propositions.
ESSENCE OF THE ROLE: 1. Own the development of the My clienttive Microsoft proposition Set the market strategy and decide upon the sector and approaches and vendor partnerships to develop revenue and market share growth. Liaise with marketing to develop a go-to-market strategy and lead generation programs. 2. Deliver against revenue plan Apply appropriate sales methodologies, pipeline management and forecasting processes to drive consistent and predictable revenue against the plan. 3. Provide sales leadership Set the team performance standard and review their implementation. Recruit and retain the best sales team, coaching and mentoring each of the team and provide career development. Contribute to the definition of sales compensation and incentive schemes. Foster the delivery of an excellent customer experience which underpins the My clienttive and Vodafone brand. 4. Manage Microsoft Relationship Develop and monitor the execution of an annual business plan with Microsoft. Working closely with Microsoft Account Manager and Partner Marketing develop a unique and differentiated proposition for My clienttive based on Microsoft Dynamics. Develop relationships with Microsoft Solution Sales and Sector Sales team for purposes of developing new and existing accounts. Establish My clienttive as Microsoft go-to partner for mobilising Dynamics and Unified Communication. 5. Manage Business Objects & Abinitio Relationships Develop account & marketing plans and relationships with key BI vendors. 6. Vodafone Integration Work closely with Vodafone channel marketing and sales channels to drive an effective sales and marketing model for My clienttive solutions that leverages both the Vodafone product and customer assets. ROLE DIMENSION: Financial (limits/mandates etc.): • Meet and exceed business plan revenue targets • Contribute to practice profitability by maintaining a minimum average consulting day rate • Meet and exceed other KPI's allocated from time to time • Acquisition of high value and high potential customers Non-financial (customers/staff etc): • Provide an executive relationship to key customers • Provide accurate consolidated pipeline forecasting , both financial and for My clienttive resources • Market and competitive awareness • Follow all Vodafone governance and procedures • Achieve high levels of customer retention TYPICAL OUTPUTS: • Continued development of a Proposition Strategy – short and long term – to maximise the market potential. • Regular 1-2-1 meetings with sales team, pipeline reviews and objective setting and progress review meeting. • Bid reviews and development of closing strategies of key deals. • Consistent consulting, product and services sales in line with business plan. • Accurate opportunity pipeline forecasting. • Liasing with marketing on the development of customer proposition and lead generation activities. • Maintain and further develop My clienttive's relationship with Microsoft through key executive relationships and retaining Gold Partner, President's Club and Inner Circle membership. TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE: * Financial experience – P+L, cost centre or budget accountability. * Extensive sales experience at executive/director level in a Business Applications mid-market & corporate sales environment. * Proven record of designing high level commercial Sales strategies and achieving successful business growth. * Proven record of working effectively in development of profitable, mutually beneficial relationships with vendor & partners. * Capable of working in a matrix organisation and able to build strong relationship and credibility with Board/ Executives both internally and externally. * Strong leadership skills being able to pull together and motivate a team. * Proven record of building people and organisational capability. * Excellent presentation/communication skills. Able to articulate the concepts and benefits of ROI, matured through experience of building executive relationships. |
