Our client, who are based in Haverhill in Suffolk and specialise in the creation and manufacture of various food products, are regularly seeking Laboratory Technicians to join their company. Candidates will be required to thoroughly and accurately complete assigned work, communicate priorities to other departments in a safe, productive and accountable manner and ensure that samples are tested to required specifications in time. You will be required to work in the laboratory using various techniques, testing and preparing samples and media, as well as some environmental monitoring. Good problem solving and teamwork abilities are required for this role. GCSE in Science (A-C) is preferred for this role and a higher education qualification or degree in a Science related subject would be distinctly advantageous.
