| Job Title: | Cad Technician – Highways, Croydon (TO £21,000) | ||
| Job Description: |
CAD Technicians with experience of highway design are required by our client's Croydon office. You will therefore be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) and will have an understanding of the current Highway standards for design as you will provide CAD support to the Highway Engineering team.
You will produce accurate and quality drawings using AutoCAD 2006, as well as work from briefs and mark-ups from engineers. In this role you'll be required to work as a part of a team and keep the concerned engineer informed of work progress. You will need to manage working on a range of projects to ensure deadlines are met. Experience in Civil/Highways and knowledge of AutoSign and AutoTrack are desirable. It's essential that you are self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision taking responsibility for team management, delivery and meeting deadlines. You'll also be computer literate with working skills of Windows XP and File Management, as well as TSRGD guidelines.
