My client is a well established electrical panel manufacturing company who have a current requirement for an Electrical Installation Supervisor.
Key roles and responsibilities will include: * Supervising all personnel for installation, servicing, breakdown and call-out works, including liaison with any agency staff or sub-contractors * Production of all quotations for works required using Extreme software * Liaison with customers for successful conclusion of all works * Management of all installation works, ie. manpower, parts, variations, drawings etc. * Significant role in the selection process of new installation personnel * Compilation of an approved list of sub-contractors, both locally and nationally * Monitoring of individual job cost effectiveness (Extreme reports, invoicing, etc.) * Carrying out all works in the Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds areas * Take on NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor duties and all associated responsibilities * Meet all necessary installation and service commitments * Ensure all sub-ordinates are trained adequately (17th edition) * Regular communication with Manager to ensure regular updates * Attendance of Planning Meetings and ensuring work plan is kept up to date at all times * Planning of labour as required, including temporary and contract labour, with Manager's input * Liaison with Project Managers on all aspects in order to achieve successful completion * Completion of all necessary documentation, as requested * Liaison with the Management Team on any safety issues and suggested improvements * Fault finding on site * Ability to undertake work locally, nationally and internationally when required Candidate Requirements: Must be able to drive and travel as and when required Capability of reading electrical diagrams Experience with AMTECH would be a distinct advantage City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2 City and Guilds 2394 Test and Inspection City and Guilds 16th or 17th Edition Experience as NICEIC Qualified Supervisor Valid Passport for Overseas Travel (as and when required) Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail Outstanding communication skills Ability and train and motivate others IT Literate This exciting position is interviewing immediately, so please contact Katy at Just Recruitment on 01473 340444 for an informal chat. |
