We are seeking a first line Helpdesk Support person for a key client in Canterbury.

The primary role is to support users with accountancy, tax and practice management software used by the firm as well as Microsoft Office. They use server based Citrix thin client technology so hardware support and configuration is mainly restricted to ghosting laptops used for audit purposes, rather than fixing PC's.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure as well as being a teamplayer. A background in accountancy software support would be a distinct advantage although a general software support background would be the main requirement.

You will be reporting to the IT Manager and be responsible for all aspects of the helpdesk function and its efficiency.

Working hours for this role are 8am to 4:30pm or 9am to 5:30pm. This role will require you to travel to the clients other offices, therefore own transport is essential.
