Buyer/Sales Executive
Electrical/Engineering Equipment £25k basic -£30k+ OTE A highly successful procurement company based in Hampshire are looking for someone with engineering and electrical knowledge in either a purchasing or sales role (retail or business to business) Your main responsibilities will be to source equipment and prepare quotations on behalf of their clients in Africa, Middle East and West Indies. You should therefore have the ability to deal with specifiers, customers and consultants and have an all round interest in the engineering field. The successful candidate will be required to combine this experience with good trading and negotiating skills to maintain the company's competitiveness. Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems and of the manufacturers of the equipment used in these installations is necessary in addition to a good, hands-on working knowledge of Office type computer programmes (Excel, Microsoft Office etc). The company use their own sourcing and quotation programmes for which training will be given. This is an ideal opportunity for some wishing to develop their buying/sales skills in a small but progressive company.
